About Us

Whether you are looking to start a fun and rewarding career or want to learn a new and exciting hobby, Adventure Bound School of Taxidermy will give you the tools and knowledge necessary to embark on this new and unique adventure. Students will benefit from our one-on-one classes and friendly learning atmosphere giving each individual the immersion they require. Every student may choose which exciting one week course is right for them. One may choose to embark on one of our leading Whitetail Deer courses or maybe our Life-size Mammal course. We also offer one week Migratory Bird (Duck) and Upland Bird (pheasant) courses. Both Mammal and Bird courses come with habitat training and business ethics. All students will take their mounts and tool kits home along with a wealthy knowledge of what it takes to be a successful taxidermist. Meet the Instructors

Jason Delue

(Owner / Instructor)

As an avid hunter and fisherman, I wanted to find a career in the outdoors. So I finally realized that I wanted to be a taxidermist. At that time, there were no taxidermy schools in Oklahoma. I found myself at Missouri Taxidermy Institute, I completed the program and quickly began my taxidermy career. Today my wife and I run a very successful taxidermy shop. In fact, it became one of the largest taxidermy shops in NE Oklahoma. I currently serve on the Board of Directors with The Oklahoma Taxidermy Association. In my years of competing, I've won several awards such as:

Get Application

The One Week Turkey Course is $1700. All other One Week Courses are $2,250 with flexible scheduling available (must call or email to schedule a one week course). A deposit of $250 is required to hold your seat. All supplies and specimens are included except the bird for the One Week Turkey Course. Students may schedule one-on-one classes at any time if we are not booked.

Lodging

This is the lodging that we recommend. Lodging is located five minutes from the school with views of Lake Fort Gibson. Several private cabins available. Noodling, fishing, swimming, boating, and plenty of wildlife to experience.
